Ullo John Got a New Motor

Smele thought I would buy the little lady a car, so that she may return from shopping without breaking her back while having to carry those heavy bags of shoes. It appears, however, that Smele made an error of judgment when purchasing the car over the internet. Smele swears it looked much bigger in the picture on the website.

New Year Cards

Come the New Year in Japan, everybody sends out a post card wishing thier friends and family a prosperous New Year. This is a card that was sent to me. As an added incentive, lottery numbers are printed on the bottom of the card and today the winning numbers were posted. Looks like a good way to make people keep the cards for two weeks until the winning numbers which of course none of my cards were. Not even a book of stamps, maybe next year.
